Self-as-Leader Digital Story

Krista Fasoli is a principal intern at J.W. Parker Middle School in Rocky Mount, NC. She is a former third grade teacher at O.R. Pope Elementary School also in Rocky Mount. She taught for three years at Pope Elementary and served as the chair of the Data Committee, a member of the School Leadership Team as well as Waiver Committee. Fasoli is a second year graduate student in the Northeast Leadership Academy at North Carolina State University. Following her internship, she intends to reside in Eastern North Carolina as a school leader. Prior to her teaching and graduate school experience, Fasoli attended Keene State College in Keene, New Hampshire where she received a dual major in Elementary Education (with teaching certification) and Social Science. Upon the completion of her undergraduate degree, she joined Teach For America and moved from Keene, New Hampshire to Rocky Mount, North Carolina. Fasoli was selected as the Pope Elementary School Teacher of the Year for 2011-2012.
